Where the handover happens
- Big hotels and resorts: usually at the lobby or the security post at the gate. Some hotels ask outside riders to wait at the gate — that's normal.
- Guesthouses and villas in lanes: right at the door. Put the pin on the gate itself.
- Hotels on one-way streets: the rider may approach from a different direction than you expect; just share your live location if needed.

Poppies and the small lanes between Jl. Legian and the beach are where many budget hotels hide. Hotel parking

Timing around check-in
Many hotels check you in from mid-afternoon. If you land in the morning, have the scooter delivered after check-in so you're not waiting in the lobby with bags. Arriving late at night?
