Three weeks is a common Bali trip: long enough to split between the beach, Ubud and the mountains, too short for most 'monthly rental' advice to feel like it's written for you. The good news is that the catalogue calculates your price automatically — it takes the cheapest combination of daily, weekly and monthly rates — and for three weeks that usually means you land on the monthly price. Here are the real 21-day totals, model by model, and how to plan the rental around a trip that moves.

21-day scooter prices in Bali

Every figure below comes from the live catalogue and is the total for the whole period, delivery and pick-up included. 'Monthly price from day' tells you the day on which the total reaches the monthly rate — after that, extra days up to 30 cost nothing more.

Want a full month instead? 30 days costs exactly the monthly price, which means the last week of a month-long rental is effectively free compared with paying for 21 days. If your trip is 23–25 days, ask the admin to quote 30 days — it's often the same money. Compare with 2-week scooter rental and monthly scooter rental.

Which scooter for a three-week trip?

  • Mostly beaches and town, one rider: Honda BeAT (Gen 4–5) or Honda Vario 110 FI — light, easy to park in Canggu and Seminyak, the lowest totals. See the Honda BeAT.
  • A bit of everything, sometimes two-up: the Honda Vario 125 (IDR 100,000/day) has more pull on the hills to Ubud and the Bukit.
  • Two people, mountains, long days: a Yamaha NMAX or Honda PCX (IDR 150,000/day). Over three weeks the comfort of a bigger seat matters more than on a weekend.
  • Village roads and rough lanes: the Honda ADV 160 (IDR 180,000/day) with higher suspension.

Moving around the island in three weeks

A typical 21-day plan is a week in the south (Canggu, Seminyak or Uluwatu), a week in Ubud and a few days in the east or north. You don't have to rent three scooters. Two easy options:

  1. Keep one scooter for the whole trip and ride it between bases. Ubud is about an hour from Canggu, Amed two to three hours from Ubud. Pack light: one backpack per person rides well; big suitcases go by taxi.
  2. Change the delivery address when you move: tell us the new pin and date. If you'd rather hand the scooter back in one area and pick up another later, see one-way scooter rental.

Three weeks means at least one rainy afternoon, even in the dry season. A pair of raincoats is an add-on for IDR 25,000 for the whole rental — worth it.

Looking after a scooter for 21 days

  • Fuel and tyre pressure are on you — fill up at Pertamina stations and check the tyres every few days. Our 5-minute pre-ride check covers the rest.
  • Something not right? Brakes, a warning light, a slow puncture — message us on WhatsApp rather than riding on. Don't take a rental to a random workshop without asking.
  • Parking: use attended parking at beaches and markets (a small fee) and lock the steering. Keep the STNK with you, not in the seat box.
  • Insurance: check that your travel insurance covers riding a scooter with your licence — see travel insurance and scooters.

Booking a three-week scooter rental

  • Delivered to you — hotel, villa, home or Ngurah Rai Airport, anywhere in mainland Bali, with pick-up at the end. No delivery fee.
  • Pay in Indonesian Rupiah when the scooter arrives (bank transfer or e-wallet). Nothing is paid in advance.
  • No deposit, and your passport is not held — you only show it with your licence at handover.
  • 2 helmets with every scooter. Minimum rental 2 days.
  1. Tap the WhatsApp button and fill in the blanks: scooter, dates, hotel or villa pin.
  2. The admin replies with what's free, the exact total and a delivery time — you see the full price before you commit.
  3. The scooter arrives with 2 helmets. Check it together, show your passport and licence + IDP, then pay.

See every model and price on the scooter rental in Bali page, or send your dates and we'll suggest the cheapest fit.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a scooter in Bali for 3 weeks?

From IDR 910,000 for 21 days (Honda BeAT (Gen 2–3) and the Honda Scoopy (Gen 2) and the Honda Vario 110 FI). A Honda BeAT (Gen 4–5) is IDR 1,210,000, an NMAX IDR 2,260,000. Delivery and pick-up are included.

Is it cheaper to rent by the month for 3 weeks?

Often you're already paying the monthly price by day 21 — the system never charges more than the monthly rate, so for 23–30 days the total is usually the same.

Can I keep the same scooter when I move from Canggu to Ubud?

Yes. Ride it to your next base, or send us the new address and we'll note it for the pick-up at the end.

Do I need to service the scooter during a 3-week rental?

No. Just keep fuel in it and the tyres pumped. If anything feels wrong, message us on WhatsApp.

Is there a deposit for a long rental?

No deposit and your passport is not held. You pay the total in Rupiah when the scooter is delivered.
