You've landed, checked in, and realised a scooter would make everything easier — today. Good news: same-day rental is common in Bali. Here's how to get a bike delivered quickly, what to send so nothing slows it down, and what to check before you ride off.

How fast can I get a scooter?

It depends on which models are free and how far your hotel is from the nearest bike. Popular areas (Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Ubud, Sanur, Uluwatu, Nusa Dua) are usually quickest. The admin always confirms the delivery time on WhatsApp before you commit — you never pay for a bike that hasn't arrived.

When you messageTypical outcome
MorningBest chance of delivery the same afternoon
AfternoonOften same evening, or first thing tomorrow
Late nightUsually next morning — book now so the bike is reserved

In peak season (July–August, Christmas–New Year) popular models go fast. If you know your dates, reserve today even if you start tomorrow — see booking before you travel.

  3. Check the fuel level and the STNK (registration) is in the scooter.
  4. Try both helmets for size.
