Yogyakarta Airport Pickup Car With Driver: An Easy Way to Book From YIA

A Yogyakarta airport pickup car with driver is a service for travellers who land at Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) and want to continue straight away by car with a local driver. This guide explains how it works, what to prepare, and how SiapPergi can help.

For many travellers, the most tiring part after landing is finding transport from the airport. In Yogyakarta, the main airport is now YIA in Kulon Progo, which is quite far from the city centre and from temples such as Borobudur. That is why booking a car with a driver to meet you at the airport is often the most practical choice.

What Is the Yogyakarta Airport Pickup Car Service?

The service means a car and a local driver meet you at YIA and take you to your hotel, homestay or straight to a sightseeing stop such as Borobudur, Prambanan or Dieng. SiapPergi offers a car with a driver (not self-drive) for Yogyakarta, YIA airport and Central Java. The SiapPergi Jogja office is in Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, and the Central Java base is in Wonosobo (Tosarirejo, Jaraksari, Kec. Wonosobo, Kabupaten Wonosobo, Jawa Tengah 56314).

Steps to Book an Airport Pickup at YIA

1. Set your schedule and route. Note your arrival date and time, plus your first destination (for example a hotel on Malioboro or a stay in Borobudur).
2. Message the Yogyakarta WhatsApp. The number for Yogyakarta and Wonosobo is 0851-7815-7074 (+6285178157074). The team is available every day from 07.00 to 23.00 WITA.
3. Send your booking details. Include your flight time, flight number, number of passengers, amount of luggage and destination address.
4. Confirm the route price. Prices for the car with driver are set per route, hours and vehicle type. Ask specifically what is included: fuel, tolls, parking and the driver's meals.
5. Pay when the service starts. SiapPergi does not accept online payment. You pay in Rupiah when the vehicle arrives and you meet the team.

Note: Car availability depends on schedule and number of passengers. For groups, also ask about a minibus or an Innova.

Vehicle Types and Popular Routes From YIA

The cars available are usually 7-seat MPVs (Avanza or Xenia class), Innovas, or minibuses for groups. Here are examples of routes that are often booked. Exact prices are not written here because they are calculated per route on WhatsApp.

To see route details, you can open the page Car rental with driver at Yogyakarta Airport or YIA to Borobudur route.

What to Prepare When the Car Arrives

• Your WhatsApp number and the name of the person who booked, so the driver can reach you easily.
• Your latest flight time. If you are delayed, let the team know so the schedule can be adjusted.
• A list of destinations and the order you want to visit them, for example airport to hotel, then Borobudur in the afternoon.
• Rupiah cash for parking or entrance tickets that are not included in your package.
• Identity documents if requested, following the rules at the location.

Rules and Things to Check Yourself

Transport rules, official airport tariffs and parking arrangements can change. Access and parking decisions at YIA are made by the airport operator and the regional government. Before you travel, check the latest information on the official airport website, and ask our team if anything is unclear.
