Choose a Bike and Book Online | SiapPergi

To choose a bike and book online in Bali, start by matching the model to your trip, then send your dates and delivery point on WhatsApp. This guide walks you through the choice, the paperwork and the booking step by step, so you can get mobile without guesswork.

Step 1: Decide what you will actually ride

Most visitors need one of three things: short trips to cafés and beaches, longer rides to Ubud or the north, or a bike for several weeks. Match the engine size to the trip, not to the look of the bike.

Your tripSuitable modelCatalogue price
Short local rides, budgetHonda BeAT (Gen 4–5)Rp80.000/day
Relaxed city and beach useHonda Scoopy (Gen 4)Rp90.000/day
Mixed roads, more luggageYamaha NMAX 155 (Gen 2)Rp150.000/day
Longer hill routes, two ridersHonda PCX 160 (Gen 2)Rp150.000/day
Highway-capable, confident ridersYamaha XMAX 250 (Gen 2)Rp310.000/day

A 110cc automatic is usually enough for town traffic. If you plan steep climbs toward Kintamani or Munduk, or you will carry two people with bags, a 150–160cc model gives you more margin on the hills.

Model pages to compare

Open the detailed pages for Honda BeAT, Honda Scoopy, Honda Vario, Yamaha NMAX, Honda PCX or Yamaha XMAX before you decide. The full list with monthly and weekly rates is on the scooter rental page.

Step 2: Check the price you will actually pay

Prices are fixed catalogue rates in Indonesian Rupiah, so you can budget before you write. Longer rentals cost less per day: you can choose a daily price, a weekly rate from Rp395.000 for the entry models, or a monthly rate from Rp910.000 for the cheapest scooters. The system applies the cheapest combination of daily, weekly and monthly rates for your dates.

If you want a car instead, self-drive cars start at Rp310.000 per day. Compare options on the car rental page.

Note: prices are listed in Rupiah. Any other currency shown on a website is only a rough conversion; your bank's rate will decide the final amount.

Step 3: Prepare your licence and documents

Requirements come from Indonesian rules, which can change. Confirm them with the official sources, and with the police or immigration office if you are unsure.

  • Scooter: a motorcycle licence. Foreign visitors need their home licence plus an International Driving Permit with the motorcycle category. The minimum age is 17.
  • Car: a valid car licence. Foreign visitors need their home licence plus an IDP.
  • ID: bring your passport or ID card to show at handover.

SiapPergi does not hold your passport. You only show it together with your driving licence when the vehicle arrives.

Step 4: Plan your delivery point

SiapPergi delivers across mainland Bali, covering Denpasar and all eight regencies. Common drop-offs include Ngurah Rai Airport, Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Ubud, Sanur, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Uluwatu, Lovina and Amed. The catalogue price is the same everywhere. Have your hotel or villa name ready, plus a phone number that works when you arrive.

If you land late, you can ask for delivery to the airport. See the Bali airport scooter page to plan the pickup point.

Step 5: Book on WhatsApp or the website

The fastest route is WhatsApp at 0818-0800-1102 (07.00–23.00 WITA), in English or Indonesian. Send:

  1. The model you want
  2. Start and end dates
  3. Your hotel or villa name, or the airport
  4. Any add-ons, such as a raincoat or phone holder

You can also use a prefilled message link from the how to book page. On the website, choosing a model gives you an order code starting with SM; the team then confirms the details with you on WhatsApp.

Step 6: Understand how payment and handover work

You pay in Indonesian Rupiah when the vehicle is delivered and you have met the team, by cash, bank transfer or e-wallet. There is no online payment, no upfront transfer and no deposit. At handover, check the vehicle with the team, make sure the two helmets come with your scooter, and confirm the return arrangements before you ride away.

Add-ons are available at the listed prices: a phone holder for Rp15.000, sunglasses for Rp15.000, helmet hair caps for Rp15.000, and raincoats for Rp25.000 (pair) or Rp15.000 (single). For short-notice changes or questions about a booking, use the team on WhatsApp.

Scooters and islands

Scooters cannot go on fast boats. If you plan a trip to Nusa Penida, the Gili Islands or Lombok, rent again at your destination rather than bringing your bike across.

Quick checklist before you confirm

  • Model chosen for your roads and luggage
  • Licence and IDP ready, with the motorcycle or car category
  • Passport or ID to show at handover
  • Hotel or villa name and a reachable phone number
  • Start and end dates confirmed on WhatsApp
  • Rupiah ready for payment on delivery
